A Retired Athlete My Story

For as long as I can remember I have been an active person. I have always enjoyed being outdoors and doing things out in nature. For as long as I can remember I have also been a competitive person. Sports was a good way of combing the two of those and enjoying them together. At the age of 6 I found out that I enjoyed playing soccer and it was something that really brought me joy. I played soccer for the majority of my life, it really defined me and mad me who I was. As all athletes do, I eventually had to stop playing, and boy, was that hard. I had to find myself again.

Who am I Without Soccer

After I finished with soccer I was forced to find myself again because I didn't know who I was without a sport that had determined my self worth for so long. I began struggling with who I was as a person, after months of battling with myself I was able to find myself again. In the gym I was able to bring out my competitive nature and really compete against myself rather than another team. It brought happiness knowing that I could see so much improvement within myslef.
